Meet Marcia
Marcia Jones is a remarkable individual with a diverse background and a strong sense of purpose. Born in Macon, GA, Marcia initially pursued her education at Valdosta State University, where she earned a B.B.A in Management in 1992. Later, in 2018, she furthered her academic achievements by obtaining an MBA with a concentration in Supply Chain Management from Clayton State University.

After graduating from Valdosta State, Marcia moved to metro Atlanta, where her professional journey began as a Manager at Blockbuster Video. Realizing the limitations in her career growth, she took a bold step by leaving Blockbuster Video without another job lined up. Eventually, she found success at Bank of America (then NationsBank), rising to the position of Vice President through determination, hard work, and perseverance.

After nine years in the corporate world, Marcia felt a need for a change in her life. In 2006, she transitioned to Clayton State University, serving as the Director of Procurement Services. Despite considering a move to the private sector, a surprising opportunity arose with Clayton County Water Authority, where she now holds the position of Purchasing Manager.

Beyond her professional achievements, Marcia has a deep spiritual side. In 2002, she answered a call to ministry and was ordained in 2008. Her journey in ministry included significant contributions to the House of God, Keith Dominion church, where she established a growing Women's ministry, served as District Youth Coordinator/Minister for over 11 years, initiated a ministry teaching young women how to drive, and organized a three-day Summer Youth conference for eight consecutive years.

In 2013, Marcia made a significant spiritual decision, leaving the church she had been part of for 40 years to follow the voice of God to New Vision Christian Church. Currently, she serves as an Ordained Elder, a committee member of the Ladies of Vision (LOV) ministry, and the Assistant Director of Training and Christian Development.

Her commitment to ministry extends beyond the physical walls of the church. In 2017, Marcia initiated a virtual Bible study for women on Facebook through Zoom, connecting with over 250 followers. Her goal is to be a powerful instrument for the advancement of the Kingdom and to contribute to the restoration of the image of God in the hearts and minds of His people. Marcia's life journey reflects resilience, faith, and a deep commitment to both personal and spiritual growth.
